There is no universally correct keyword density. Google's algorithms do not use a target density. Focus on natural, readable content that covers the topic thoroughly. As a rough sanity check, a primary keyword appearing more than 4% of the time is likely unnatural; 1–2.5% is typically healthy for a well-written piece.
Not in the way it once did. Modern search algorithms use semantic analysis, entity recognition, and topic modelling rather than counting keyword percentages. Keyword density analysis is now more useful as a readability and naturalness check than as a direct SEO optimisation target.
Stop words like 'the', 'a', 'and', 'is' appear in virtually every text and carry no topical signal. Filtering them reveals the content words that actually indicate what your text is about. Disable filtering if you need complete frequency data including common words.
A bigram is a two-word phrase (email marketing, search engine). A trigram is a three-word phrase (content marketing strategy, search engine optimisation). Multi-word phrase analysis is more useful than single-word analysis for understanding what specific topics your content covers.
Yes. Copy the visible text from any web page (select all text in the browser, copy, paste into the analyser) to see their keyword frequency distribution. This reveals their topical focus and the specific terms they emphasise.
The analyser converts all text to lowercase before counting, so 'Marketing', 'marketing', and 'MARKETING' are all counted as the same word. If you are seeing apparent duplicates, check for the same word with different spellings (colour vs color) rather than different cases.
