Find the perfect meeting time across 4 time zones — with a visual overlap grid.
Yes. The converter uses the browser's built-in Intl.DateTimeFormat API with IANA time zone names, which handles DST transitions automatically for all locations based on the specific date you are converting.
UTC (Coordinated Universal Time) is the primary time standard for the world. All time zones are expressed as UTC offsets: New York is UTC-5 (EST) or UTC-4 (EDT), London is UTC+0 (GMT) or UTC+1 (BST), Tokyo is UTC+9. UTC does not observe daylight saving time.
There are 24 standard time zones (one per hour of UTC offset), but many locations use half-hour or even 15-minute offsets from UTC, bringing the total to around 40 distinct time zones. India uses UTC+5:30, Nepal uses UTC+5:45, Australia's Central Time is UTC+9:30.
A green background indicates the city is currently in business hours (9am–6pm local time). This makes it immediately visible at a glance which cities are available for a meeting at the selected time.
The US and Canada switch to daylight saving time on the second Sunday in March. Most of Europe switches on the last Sunday in March. During the 2–3 week gap between these transitions, the time difference between US and European cities is 1 hour less than usual.
The tool supports up to 6 cities simultaneously. For larger team coordination, run multiple comparisons using different city combinations, or use a dedicated team scheduling tool that can display more cities at once.
