Table Generator
Use this tool →
Build tables visually, then export as Markdown, HTML, or CSV — in any format you need.
There is no hard limit in the generator. Practically, very large tables (50+ columns or 100+ rows) become unwieldy to edit visually and may produce very long output. For large datasets, consider importing from CSV rather than manual entry.
Not directly — the generator is for manual entry and visual editing. To create a table from spreadsheet data, use the CSV export from your spreadsheet tool and paste it into the CSV-to-JSON converter, or manually paste cell values into the grid.
The most common issues: missing the separator row (| --- | --- |), inconsistent column count between rows, or pasting into a Markdown parser that does not support GFM tables. The separator row is required — the generator always includes it. If your parser does not support tables, switch to the HTML output format.
In Markdown output, you can manually add Markdown formatting after export — type **bold** or [link](url) within cells. In HTML output, you can add HTML tags. The generator's grid treats all cell values as plain text.
Nothing. CSV is a plain data format with no formatting or alignment information. Alignment only affects Markdown (via colon syntax in the separator row) and HTML (via text-align style attributes).
Start from the default 4-row, 3-column grid and use the + Column and + Row buttons to reach your desired dimensions. Or click 'Clear' to reset to the default and then expand from there. The − Row button removes the last row if you overshoot.
